The debut album from Mexico City/Seattle supergroup Mala Suerte is finally here! Featuring members of Acid Tongue, Carrion Kids, Los Honey Rockets and The Grizzled Mighty, Mala Suerte's eponymous debut LP is full-throttle punk at its finest. Featuring elements of psychedelia, Mexican garage and metal, this record is nothing short of an underground rock masterpiece.

Cuando la crème de la crème de la escena garage rock de la Ciudad de México y Seattle se junta, el resultado es Mala Suerte, una banda de punk psicodélico fundada en 2020. Los jugadores son veteranos dentro de sus respectivas escenas, compuesto por Miguel Servín (Carrion Kids, Las Pipas de la Paz), Guy Keltner (Acid Tongue), Jasmina Hirschl (Los Honey Rockets, Las Pipas de la Paz, Has a Shadow) y Ryan Granger (The Grizzled Mighty). La música de la banda es áspera e intensamente emocional, inspirada en una gran variedad de bandas clásicas de garage rock mexicano y sudamericano. Después de pasar años de girar juntos, los miembros de Mala Suerte han creado un nuevo sonido que encarna el alma lejana de la Ciudad de México y el grunge temperamental de Seattle. Sus letras enojadas yuxtaponen el odio y el amor, las desilusiones diarias y las resacas.

Al grabar de forma remota entre la Ciudad de México y Seattle, el disco posterior es todo menos dócil: la banda te lleva a su mundo desde la primera nota, desatando un sonido monstruoso que busca su igual.
